The look of a site is not just an aside. In a visual medium, the look is fundamental substance of your visitors’ experience. And it’s not just a cosmetic thing.

I bought this as at alternative to the Wacom Intuos3 that I had been using at work.  I am not really interested in investing a lot of money into Intuos, I decided to go with the Bamboo Fun.

It is of very sleek design and fits perfectly on my limited desk area. The larger surface area gives it the feel of paper, allowing me to rest my hand on the same level as where I am drawing, making it more natural.

I don’t use the Touch Feature very much because I had difficulties using this feature, especially to rotate and zoom. I have to try multiple times to make it works. I use the pen mainly for masking and drawing. The pen looks nice, it doesn’t like the older series which looks made from cheap plastic. The tablet also comes with extra pen nibs and an extraction tool.

Conclusion: I think bamboo Fun serves me well for price. I bought it for $150 which is a good price, the listing price is around @200.  It’s a good tool for graphic designer, but not for illustrator or artist. And I don’t think the Pen and Touch feature will be able to replace mice and pointing device.
